Jake White will continue his recovery from emergency surgery at home after the Vodacom Bulls director of rugby was discharged from hospital on Monday.
White underwent successful abdominal surgery on 8 January after complaining about debilitating stomach cramps when the Vodacom Bulls returned to South Africa from a Vodacom United Rugby Championship match against Dragons in Newport.

The former Springbok coach had travelled with the Vodacom Bulls to Wales, but was unable to attend the match due to a cold.
Vodacom Bulls president Willem Strauss took to social media on Monday to provide a positive update on White’s recovery.
“Our coach was discharged from hospital and are slowly, but surely getting better,” Strauss said on Twitter.
While recovering from the operation and going through his rehabilitation programme, White will be taking a brief break from his team duties until 8 February.

Backline coach Chris Rossouw took charge of the team in the Champions Cup home match against Exeter Chiefs in Pretoria on Saturday, which the Vodacom Bulls won 39-28.
The Vodacom Bulls will travel to France this week for their final Champions Cup pool match against Lyon on Friday night at 10pm.
