Evan Roos barged over at the death as the DHL Stormers outscored the Glasgow Warriors by four tries to one in a bonus-point win in Cape Town in the 2021-22 Vodacom URC.
It was another powerhouse display from Roos, who was named the URC’s Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season, Fans’ Player of the Season, Next-Gen Player of the Season and a place in the Dream Team during a title-winning campaign for the Stormers.
The first half at Cape Town Stadium was tight as both teams showed spurts of good attacking play, but a great try by Stormers centre Rikus Pretorius and two penalty goals and a conversion by Manie Libbok to only one converted try by Glasgow No 8 Jack Dempsey saw the hosts take a 13-7 lead into the sheds.

Libbok earned their first points in the 30th minute from the kicking tee, and Pretorius built on this with a stunning try minutes later from a well-timed change of direction on attack and a slick inside pass to the hard-running midfielder who dashed through to dot down.
The Stormers built on this momentum 12 minutes into the second half as Herschel Jantjies received a stunning offload from Hacjivah Dayimani, who showed incredible pace and skill.
Leolin Zas added their third try almost immediately after, gathering the ball out wide and he stepped on the gas to make his way over the chalk.
The Stormers dominated the second half creating one opportunity after the other, but solid defence by the Scottish visitors denied them from adding to their score until the final minute.
Roos handed the hosts the breakthrough they needed as he crashed over from a hard dash on attack in the final minute, sealing a rewarding 32-7 victory for the Stormers.
